Bumpdate Week 15 and BIG NEWS

Hi everyone!

As of Tuesday, I am 15 weeks pregnant and the baby is the size of an Avocado! We are super excited to be parents. I wish I could have a sonogram every week to see the little peanut 🥰Top questions I get....

How are you feeling?

I've been feeling okay! I'm definitely not as tired, my headaches have gone down a lot, but boy can pregnancy hormones and emotions be real! Up until about week 12 I was sleeping all day every day. I felt very drained from the little one taking all of my energy plus working in restaurants is very draining. I was also getting severe migraines EVERY DAY with no breaks. I would wake up in the middle of the night with a migraine and in tears plus start most of my days with headaches. I was already taking Tylenol and using ice packs (which wasn't working). That's when my doctor suggested magnesium oxide and a cup of coffee a day. My headaches have gone down a lot over time, but still get VERY bad, so I'll be following up with a neurologist at some point.

BUT, overall, week 15 has me feeling more energetic, optimistic, and up beat!

Are you showing?

A little bit! I can hide it certain times of the day, but usually in the evening I can't... I met another sweet expecting mama the other day that is around 23 weeks and she suggested maternity leggings from Walmart, so I'll be checking that out and will probably be living in leggings as I grow! I can't wait until my belly gets bigger so I can feel the little kicks 🥰

Are you going to find out the gender? and when?

We are going to find out the gender and will be announcing it! We have our next Sono December 10th, so that's our first hope to find out. Unfortunately, you don't always get lucky the first appointment, but we should definitely know by Christmas!

What do you want to have?

Dave and I both wanted a boy when we found out I was pregnant. Dave's a huge baseball guy, so it would be so special to coach his son on the field and do "daddy/son" things as our boy grows up. I always wanted a boy first because I grew up with a younger brother and just wanted something different. I told Dave after we got our dog "I think we're having a girl. We got a boy puppy before I found out I was pregnant and I think that's a sign that I have my boy and a girls next -- of course everything thinks I'm crazy for thinking that-- As time passes I keep seeing all these baby bows and cute outfits, so now I'm dying to have a little girl to dress up! We'll see!!

Have you started a registry?

I recently started browsing and creating registries, but won't actively work on them until after we know the gender. I decided to use babylist as my "main hub" and connect a Walmart, Target, and Amazon registry to my babylist account. That way I can take advantage of the perks each place give for registering with them and get their welcome boxes/bag.... I recently got the Target Welcome Bag, so if anyone is interested in seeing what they give you, I'll be happy to share! I welcome any suggestions on what to put on a registry!!

If it's easier for people, you can leave them in the comment box under the "Learn more" or "Contact Me" tab

OUR BIG NEWS!!! ↴

David and I decided it would be best for the baby if we move home to Maryland. We are so so so sad to leave Florida and this was not an easy decision, but in the long run, we know our families want to be with us and the new baby. This is the first grandbaby on my side of the family and my grandparents can meet their first great grandchild, so being around family is probably best. I am definitely glad that we have met so many amazing people down in Florida, so we'll have a lot of people to see and visit throughout the years. We fell extremely blessed to have this opportunity of living in Florida and I wouldn't change it for the world
